03 — Solar, Battery & EV

CEC-accredited solar PV install, battery storage with backup changeover, and 7–22 kW EV charger installation including three-phase upgrades.

How we operate
Electrical work is invisible when it’s done well and very visible when it isn’t. Three rules sit behind every job that leaves our trucks.
Booked windows are real windows. If something runs over on the previous job we call ahead — we don’t leave you sitting at home wondering. Most of our work comes from referrals because of this one rule alone.
No “we’ll see when we get into the wall” pricing. Fixed-fee for defined scopes, written variations if anything genuinely changes once we’re on site. The number you agree to is the number you pay.
Drop sheets down before we start, off-cuts in the truck, dust vacuumed before we leave. Switchboards labelled, photos to your phone, certificate of compliance emailed before the invoice goes out.
How a job runs
Most jobs follow the same four-step rhythm. The bigger the scope, the longer step 3 — but the structure stays the same.
Tell us what’s going on. For small jobs we can quote on the call. For anything bigger we book a free on-site visit at a time that suits.
We walk the property with you, eyeball the switchboard, talk through options, and email a fixed-fee quote within 24 hours — broken down line-by-line.
You pick a date that works. We arrive in branded vans, in uniform, with the materials already in the truck. Most residential jobs are same-day; commercial fit-outs run to staged plans.
Every circuit tested, switchboard photographed and labelled, and a certificate of compliance emailed to you. Invoice follows. We’re still on the phone if anything needs a second look.
About Voltline
Voltline Electrical is a family-run electrical contracting business based in Brisbane’s inner-north. We run a tight team of licensed electricians, two apprentices, and a part-time office manager — small enough that the directors are personally on the bigger jobs, large enough to handle commercial fit-outs and emergency callouts at the same time.
Our work is split roughly 60/30/10 between residential, commercial, and solar/EV. We’re Master Electricians members, fully licensed with QBCC, CEC-accredited for solar, and every job leaves with a certificate of compliance — no exceptions.
We carry $20M public liability, run all-employee (no subbies), and keep service area to Greater Brisbane and the Redlands so we can be on-site quickly when something goes wrong. References from any job — residential or commercial — available on request.
